well, I decided to flee nyc after several people suggested me to. on monday, i slept in and went over to the upper east side to visit josh, whom i haven't seen in over 2 years. he looks so mature now, well-dressed, poised. it still amazes me how much he's accomplished in his life---he moved to nyc when he was only 16 yrs. old to begin college where he continued to work with Al Hirschfeld (sp?) and created some set designs for some major off-broadway and broadway productions. then suddenly, this last year, he decided to give up the life of the theatre to study medicine, which he's doing now. anyhow, so i went to his place, ate the best spaghetti carbonara in my life, went back to anna's, packed up and took the first train out of ny to d.c.....arriving around 10:45pm to smiling linda's face at union station.

she had to go to work the next day...so i just hung out, watched tv on her roomie's ridiculously huge projection tv thing and wandered around georgetown. we finally took off and arrived in puerto rico late late last night and are now staying at the ever familiar esj towers. it is so warm and sunny...i love it.
